What is the name of this Italian Restaurant? Chicago and San Fransisco

While I was in the Chicago area once We stayed in a hotel in Elgin, IL. We went out exploring for some food and found a nice Italian restaurant. I believe it was in Elgin and I do not remember the name. The price and taste of the food was not to bad, and service was excellent. But I do not remember the name. here is what I know, which is not much. It was in a old church, it was dimly lit and I think the bathrooms where down stairs. Not much to go on but if you know what place this is let me know.

Another Italian restaurant I would love to know the name of is in San Fransisco. And I do not know much here either. It was by a street called stair street, I think it got its name because the sidewalk is literally a set of stairs. There seemed to have been a lot of Italian places in the area. It was also by the... umm... adult entertainment part of town... It is not a big place, they have a case in the front with gelato. They have pizza there which is about 12 to 14 inches on very thin crust and is meant to be a personal sized pizza, and is amazing! If you go up stair street you can see a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

So if anyone knows the names of these places i would very much like to know. Thank you!
