As of right now, our service code, OSQA is having bugs on the service and things that can cause some problems. They include
As of right now, it has been reported and working on it. |

Update: It seems it is the wybia toolbar that is causing the troubles. We have remove it for the time being to resume regular progress on this site |

The problem is not related with OSQA, but with one of the embedded ad codes. The technical reason is that somewhere in those codes, the jQuery object (used extensively throughout the page rendering) gets overridden by one of those old school getElementById replacements, which breaks the rest of the code, so everything that depends on javascript gets broken. |

The script should later have a exception for moderators/admins of flood protection in the next update |

it happened to me on a firefox browser. I thought it was just me. but the problem doesn't seem to exist on a Google Chrome 17 beta and later. |

that happened in a Firefox 8.0.1 last week. and Now I am experiencing the Unable to comment issue while using a Google Chrome 16m. good luck Lockergnome team. |

Well, the script will suspend you if you try to do to much at once from the same ip, like trying to post twice with two seconds difference. That is not related with spam protection, was related with a threat from some hacker or a group of them. |

Don't really know, but its one of them. If you want to help chris track this, take a look at the page source and start blocking the domain of the ads one by one, by ading an entry on your hosts file for example. Eventually, the page will start working again for you and you'll know which one is causing the problem. |
