I want to buy one so that I don't have to go behind my T.V. every time I want to switch my PS3, Xbox 360 and Cable Box. Do the new inputs appear when you hit input on the remote? Does it come with some kind of an additional remote to control the new HDMI ports? I tried to Google it and came up empty-handed. Anyone familiar with them?

HDMI splitters work because of a Integrated circuit doing the switching. It usually interprets the command sent by the controller, tells which input to take and output it to the tv (and the HDCP protection)

It transmits video from a single display unit to multiple display sources. Its a fantastic resource for video splitting and amplifying. The demand for hdmi splitters have increased eventually as the signals transferred are of fine quality.
