I am new to photography but I really wanna start getting my work out online for people to see. I love to take pictures and videos which that is my hobby and I am wondering if this camera is worth getting for Christmas for me if I am just starting out taking pictures?

Should I get it for Christmas or return it after the holidays and get something else?

http://www.photographyblog.com/reviews/nikon_coolpix_l120_review/ That might help you. Take this from someone who absolutely loves photography: Yes. It's a good one. I honestly prefer Canon cameras, but that L120 is a really good camera.

So you recommend me getting that camera for Christmas? Should I keep it or return it and get something else? I am new to photography and I wanna become serous when I take my photos. Is it a good camera for beginners?

For beginners, yeah it should be. You just need to get used to the manual controls it offers. (Which is why it can be good for beginners. It has them there when you need them.)
