My desktop CPU fan is dead and wanted to buy a new fan. I was wondering if any cpu fan will fit or it has to be compatible with the cpu? |

It's more to do with size, a quick Google search of the CPU and heat sink should tell you what size you need, after that you should be able to find a compatible fan online or take one from on old or dead PC. |
