How to overclock my AMD A8-3800?

0	I want to overclock my APU to 2.9GHZ. Its running at 2.4GHZ turbo core to 2.7GHZ at around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. is there software i can use to do it? cpu apu amd overclock asked Dec 30 '11 at 19:17 kingnazz 271●13●17●20

Depending on your motherboard there is overclocking software. But really you should use the BIOS to overclock your CPU. Again depending on your motherboard it's more or less difficult to do. a 500MHz overclock is not a huge O.C but I'd recommend getting an aftermarket cooler for it. Of course you should increase the frequency in steps and always perform stability tests to see if it's stable. I'd say every 100MHz.
