Personally, since I use windows, my favourite free software has to be the GOM media player, as it plays most audio and video formats, including flv, avi, mpg and mp4, and even some formats that allow for higher quality video such as mkv, and as a bonus it runs most .swf files also, making it ideal for testing web-apps made using flash, or simply playing saved flash games offline.

You should be more specific in your question. However, one of my favorite free programs is CCleaner. It's a great cleaning program!

Auslogics Registry Cleaner, Better then CCleaner, CCleaner like's to Delete everthing on your computer, Then you get error's saying some file could not be found ?

Probably Ubuntu! It is a whole operting system, and probably every other kind of software you might need all in one. It would have to rule, imho, over any single piece of single software, imho.
