I have to agree, some of the things on your list would be on mine as well. CES 2012 seems to be boring this year, but somehow, there are signs of great products to come. In this current day and age, I find that even one or two new devices or technologies can help our society evolve. I may come back to this post after CES is finished

I really like what I see from Ubuntu TV. It looks great, and its good to have another player in the smart TV arena, especially since it is very much still in its infancy part.

Also, Windows Phone 7 is starting to look like a really nice alternative to Android and iOS, finally!
