HDTV or Projector

Dear Chris, Should I buy an HDTV or a Projector for my living room? I just bought a house and have a fairly good-sized wall that could accommodate a large TV if it is fairly thin (i.e. Less than 2") or I could set up a projector and screen. The only thing I don't like about the projector idea is that I'd have to put it somewhere on the other wall meaning it would protrude from the wall quite a bit. I know your normal answer is, "Get what is best for you" I will, I just want to know what you think.

Ok. Sorry. I don't do this sort of thing very often. I watch his videos a lot, but it escaped my mind to think that I should email him if I'm going to phrase the question this way. Oops. Now, I know.

This is the wrong place to find Chris, chances are he wont read this, just email him. But projectors get very hot and obsolete fast. I'd go with the TV because you can stand in front of it without having video projected onto you shirt.
