MIT and CalTech are really good schools for IT. So is Harvard, but those are a longshot if you're an average student, but If i were you, i would check the local community college. A lot of them nowadays are offering really good 2 year degrees in IT, and then you could, a lot of times, transfer those credits to a university and get your bachelors degree.
