What is the best wireless router/ modem combo on the market? |
|
Well by combo do you mean all-in-one or 2 separate devices? If two separate, I'd advise with going with a Linksys wireless router. They're a highly respected company with over the top products. Modem pretty much depends on what your provider gives you, Motorola usually works great. |

The wireless part: http://www.sonicwall.com/us/ The modem part: http://www.cisco.com/ I highly recommend looking into: Broadband Over Powerlines (BPL), HomePlug, IEEE P1901, etc. have been around for many years. It's used in Europe & Asia, and slowly being adopted in the U.S.A. I've installed & use Panasonic BL-PA100KTA HD-PLC Ethernet Adaptor BL-PA100A units.

As what @coolduckey said, you have to check with your provider. Not ALL modems work with their systems. |
