Hey guys, I have an HTC Thunderbolt on the Verizon Network, and I was wondering if there was a manual way or an app that would allow me to save a particular conversation either to a place on the SD card or elsewhere, possibly on my computer?

I can't seem to find a reliable source of information for an app that does what I'd like it to do: I'd like to preserve the order in which the texts and multimedia items were sent and received, if possible. Basically, I'd just like to have an easy-to-access and in-order copy of these texts and multimedia, like that app PhoneView for the iPhone, but for Android.

SMS Backup & Restore seems to be the closest to this, allowing me to save and restore conversations to and from the SD card, but it doesn't support MMS, which means those messages in my conversations would be left out of the backup. I'm wondering if there's an app that'll do both SMS and MMS instead of one or the other.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

yes, i agree with the person above me. Ive been using SMS backup & restore since the day i got an android phone and started messing with ROM's & flashing. It's very vital if you want to change between OS's and not lose conversations with friends, or wonder where you left off. I really enjoy it, and whoever developed it deserves a cookie.
