I like Office 2010. I think we will have at least a year before we see a new version, probably even longer than that. However, I don't know a new one could come out next week, I don't know. However, I can say the Office 2010 is a great product and that you most likely wont regret buying it.

No, there are many other free open-source solutions such as LibreOffice, or Google Docs. That can do all of the same tings as Office 2010 can do, and it can even opne and save files as the formats that office uses. Finally, it's free!

Think about a tech net subscription. $200 for everything Microsoft makes for the next year, including Office 2012(?). You can install on all your computers as long as it is your personal computer. Macs too.

Office 2010 is a pretty solid product. It's a bit of an invesntment so if you are not ready to buy just get a free 60 day trail version at http://buyoffice.microsoft.com/usa and see for youurself whether it meets your needs.

Last year, I was fortunate to have been gifted Microsoft Office 2010 Professional directly from Microsoft =0p...
I you know someone at Boeing, they can obtain Microsoft Office for around $10. If not, ask your school about student edition &/or discounts.
