I have been an Android user for 2 years now with my Galaxy S. I do love the OS but I feel I'm getting bored with Android and fancy a change to iOS.

My contract runs out in May and I would wait for the inevitable iPhone 5. Would I regret the change to iOS?

Well a change to iOS as it is in this moment will not do you any good. The iPhone 4S was a huge fuckup but hopefully the iPhone 5 will redeem the series. I'd hold off on changing just yet. I don't know when the iPhone 5 will arrive or whatever it will be called but I'd wait until it's introduced to make my choice.

i don't think you would because i love my iPhone 4S, however its also down to preference so maybe have a go of someones iPhone and see if you like it, and if you don't like it and still want a change you could try windows phone 7.

I changed to iOS from Android and don't regret it for a second. In fact, I only had my Galaxy s ii skyrocket for a month before I traded for an iPhone 4 on cragslist and got extra cash too.

Things I noticed: Atleast twice the battery life, a much smoother refined experience, awesome pixel density, and much higher quality apps. That is my honest experience.

iOS is much more "tight knit" than Android which is a positive for most people because it is SO easy to use. For people that like more bells and whistles and less restrictions, android is great. It really depends on who you are though

If you really like to customize your phone then maybe. Ive had IOS for a couple years now though and love it. My girlfriend has android and it freezes all the time and the animations aren't very good and stuff like that. So if you like quality and reliability then you'll like IOS but if customization of everything on the phone is very important to you then you might not like it as much.

I don't really customize my phone at all. My Galaxy S does freeze from time to time which is annoying and I would like to see the quality of apps that apple has to offer. I just fancy a change.

Decide is in your thoughts.

Think about for what you need to change, what you expect, does it fulfill your current already have features.

It's lot better to ask from a person who have used all platforms and brand names.

Even you haven't satisfied, try hand on review yourself. Thanks.

I have the same phone and feel the same way after only a year and half. I'm over Android, I can live without the customization if it would just work the way its suppose to.

With the iPhone and iOS, you are then walled into Apple's "garden". I don't like being walled in, which is why I'm an Android user.

But for the phone itself, seeing as you are coming from a Galaxy S device, the biggest letdown you will have most likely is the screen size. After going big, you can't go back really. It's hard, I have tried it, and couldn't do it.

Right not I have an Android (2.2) phone, but I don't like how Google just wants access to all of my information. Right now I'm with MetroPCS and it's pretty limited on the 4G LTE smartphones. I'm thinking of Blackberry OS for my next phone, but I'm kind of hoping that there will be some kind of AmigaOS hack before I need a new phone. I just want a phone with an OS from a company that respects my privacy. With LTE capability. There are rumors that Sprint will buy MetroPCS to get it's LTE technology as Sprint's $G system is based on a proprietary technology (WIMAX). But my biggest beef with Google is invasion of privacy.

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has revealed that he prefers Google Android phones - at least for certain functions such as voice command. 'My primary phone is the iPhone,' said Wozniak. 'I love the beauty of it. But I wish it did all the things my Android does, I really do.' His comments, in an interview with the Daily Beast, are in stark contrast to Steve Jobs' take on Android, which he said was a 'stolen product'. >>>--> more
