I am in the need to clean out all the bad registeries on my Windows 7 desktop and I want to know what is the best one to use. I have used CCleaner in the past and I don't know if I should go back to it or try something else. What else is out there to clean my registery and clean all the unwanted files. What do you recommend. I just want to clean up the unwanted files and things that are making my computer running a little slow.

(I can not show you the specs of my computer because I am at school but when I get home I will edit this page and add a picture of my specs)

I've used Glary Utilities in the past which was OK but recently I've been using Auslogics Registry cleaner as I prefer it (no real reason - just personal preference)

Overall. Do you think that Auslogics is better with cleaning the registery then CCleaner?

well I haven't really compared them, I tried ccleaner but preferred the user interface of Auslogics. In terms of sorting bad keys I doubt there's much between them to be honest. All of them are free so just try them out and see what works best for you.

Also, I forgot to say before that I still use Glary Utilities a couple of times a year for doing a registry defrag which is quite effective at speeding a slowing PC. Just make sure you create a restore point before doing it!

CCleaner is a good one. I see that you have used it before, and that's great. I recommend it to all.
