Hi I'm a DJ and I have noticed the lack of people talking about DJ Equipment djaying is very technical these days with timecode CDJ MIDI Controllers dj software and all other advances in the field I think we should talk and discuss what we think about the latest inovations and what we think about them. If u would like to share any of your dj or dj equipment knowledge please post answers and hopefully we can help people with dj technology's on lockergnome.net as well as computer tablets phones and all the other stuff. |

I'm a DJ too, and I don't think we should talk more about DJing here. This site is meant for everyone and not just us DJ's. I did not mean like that I mean about the technology's broaden the subjects this website was created for helping people with technology and other things I think that the technology that has been devoloped in the djaying space is being over looked and when people need help it's very hard to find it this website talks about cars phones computers and life situations I think adding another subject to help people can only be a good thing and it will help the site grow Chris created this as a help tool and it is up to the community to use and expand the help available here. The more help people can give the better. And your last point this site is so post to be for everyone I'm not saying replace it all with dj stuff I just mean expanding on a fantastic liberty of content to cater for a wider audience and to grow the community. I mean it's not taboo to talk about DJing in here. Not everyone is a DJ, @DJHardKeys. Not that many people can talk about what's the best pro DJ mixer if they have no experience mixing. Well not every one likes windows but people still talk about it I'm not saying that everyone must read it but for the people that want the information it's there. Again not everyone wants to know about windows but people still ask questions because there will be someone in the community that wants that answer it's about expanding the knoladge base here ps I can't help my self in my opinion it's pioneer djm 900 nexus. 3
If DJs are in fact here, then why not discuss the subject? It's not like it will deter other conversation. I'm not a Mac guy yet I continue to read through the questions here while skipping the Mac topics. And I'm not a DJ but the subject interests me, thus I am here commenting.....I just might learn something about it. @alanstryder Thanks for backing me on this. What type of djaying do u want to learn about? If there is any help I can give u or any encouragement to become a dj then feel free to ask. Lol, never said that we shouldn't EVER talk about DJing, just that not everyone would know all about DJing. I love DJing and will talk about it as long as it takes.
