Once and a while I been getting this error the following plugin is unresponsive: shockwave flash. It's not happening all the time but I would be watching a video on YouTube or doing something on the internet and all of a sudden the browser crashes. It's not a big deal because I can go back to what I was doing later. I just wanna know how to fix this problem because sometimes when I am browsing the interner with Google Chrome the error comes up and it get's so annoying!

I have a similar issue. When I'm playing a video on YouTube and close the tab while the video is still playing the browser will completely crash. It's been happening since Wednesday.

That and a few other things have happening as well. The whole browser crashes when you open it and it crashes like you said when you open a new tab. I think Google needs to update this browser and fix the errors and the crashes in the new update!

A possible cause has been covered by Lockergnome already. Google Chrome includes a built-in version of the Flash Plugin, but it can clash with that already installed on the system. Disabling the internal one is suggested as described here.
