Here is the situation,

I have a podcast network called The MHF Tech Network (available from iTunes). We have been going since August 2011 and we are now looking to set up a website.

We need to buy hosting for a new wordpress-powered site. It's going to have downloads for every episode, comments using a facebook or twitter login, posting episodes to twitter or facebook, social sharing and I am going to be using google analytics with it.

Our shows are audio only at the moment.

In addition to this, I am going to be doing a forum which will also have a video game arcade.

I can spend no more than $120 a year on hosting.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to which hosting provider I can choose.

Hostgator. They have some of the most reasonable prices I've ever seen from a web host. Right now their prices are 20% off. I've been using them for a little over a year and have been very happy.

I run Wordpress on my site (aroundegg.com) and was able to install it in minutes using Fantastico. Their support has been fantastic whenever I had problems, and I've had a very good experience with them.

Contact my mate at WarServers.NET

They have a new web service coming out soon that is cheap yet very good.

They probably could host you on their current webserver.

Say I sent you.

I use http://www.cinfu.com for my server. I have a VPS with them which is incredibly cheap compared to most hosting companies. They also have web hosting, though I've never used their web hosting plan. I expect it to be just as good as their VPS. I setup my own webserver on my VPS, which wasn't that hard to do if you want to. I'd highly recommend them.

Hi everyone,

I just want to say thanks so much for all your help. I took all your thoughts into consideration and after much deliberation, I have chosen to go with HostGator. I chose to go on their baby package and I went with a 6-month billing cycle. I will let you all know when my new site is ready.

Thanks once again for all of your help and support in this difficult time.
