Dual monitors - 16:9 ratio - VGA output only - Will this fail miserably?

As the title suggests:

I have an old Intel Pentium 4 and have acquired 2 monitors capable of 1600x900 resolution.

Will my onboard VGA output work (with a splitter) and deliver full 1600x900 without stretching/distortion?

1	It should work however, keep in mind this is not going to let you use dual monitors you are just going to have the same picture on both screens. You will need a dedicated videos card with multiple outputs to have dual monitors. answered Feb 06 '12 at 07:56 TheTechDude (suspended)
