We all know that Firefox 10.0 has recently been released, and it seems that there have been a couple visual changes and the updated browser also seems to be running more quickly. What are your opinions on Firefox 10.0?

I think something in FF9 was broken that resulted in horrible slowdowns compared to FF8. Glad to see it fixed in FF10. Visually everything is the same for me, just as it has been since FF3. I also think they should stop with this 'rapid release plan'. It too a few YEARS to get from a beta to FF3 and its gone from 3 to 10 in a few MONTHS. I liked the old 2.3,2.4,2.5 type releases.

I like the old type of releases as well, but at least Mozilla isn't letting Google speed way past them with how quickly they're "releasing" browser updates. And I am SUPER happy that the slowdowns were fixed. I had to resort to Google Chrome because of FF9. >.<

Does it really matter how they number THEIR browser? I mean c'mon its just a number...

I know "it's just a number" but do you really want to be using FireFox 38 by next summer?

I don't really see the issue. Half the time you don't even know what version you are running.

It's not really too much different from FireFox 4...

Once again, its JUST A NUMBER. Who honestly cares, as long as it does what it needs to do and is constantly evolving...

I find 10 a little faster and more responsive than 9, 8 was alright, but had it's own problems, I think they are on the right track, there have been improvements in each new program, but there have also been negatives, (the worst I( think is in 9), as to the numbering, if they have any sense they will let it get to the last two year digits and follow that line, i.e. it's 2012 so let it get to version 12, then updates as a point from there (i.e. 12.01 etc), that will limit the numbers and pacify the purists he he (sorry guys could not resist)
