My external drive (western digital), im unable to delete anything on it!

i dont know how to explain this but i simply cant delete anything on my drive.theres no option in the context menu and the delete button does nothing except windows gives me the does nothing ring u kno this annoying sound. its been always working perfectly, and i have no idea what made it like that recently. its on exFAT system but i dont think this matters. google dint help me a bit.
