if i deleted windows.old folder could i recover it

and if so is it free?

If you delete that folder it is just like any other folder or file you delete.

My cousin once had that folder what ever you do do not take it to PC world or currys since there the same company because they some times hack into your stuff my cousin sent it into pc world and had his WOW ( world of warcraft ) account stolen and then they tryed to re-sell his account lucky he stopped it before it got sold, maybe look up in google

If you deleted it and it's not in your trash bin, not likely, no - certainly not for free if you've done much computing since the deletion, as there have likely already been writes over the sectors that data used to reside on... However, unless you have some system-specific files you have to have from there for some odd reason (that you can't get somewhere else), you shouldn't NEED to recover it. This is usually where old or previous versions of Windows are moved when you do a re-installation and the like, and it is generally only system-related files, not user data, contained therein. As such, if everything was and is working fine, there shouldn't be any need to still have access to that data.
