For those it applies to, what type of HTPC do you have? My desktop is my HTPC. Blu-ray drive, TB's of space, works perfect for all media needs. |

I was going to build one specifically for HD playback on my 40" HD TV, but someone mention the Sumvision Cyclone Micro 2+. It has HDMI output, coaxial audio connection and HDMI up scaling of standard definition video files. I'm happy I didn't build a HTPC it would have a lot more expensive and would do more or less the same thing.
Version 3 just came with 8GB of internal storage. |

My personal HTPC is a free P4 HT 3.4Ghz box I got. I added a wireless card and a few tuner cards and used the software, SageTV. |

Zotac do some pretty awesome mini PC's with awesome connectivity. check them out. |

I just maxed out an old HP M1195C to use for an all in one. A friend of the family that brings their computers to me to be fixed or upgraded gave it to me. |

The closets thing I have to a HTPC is my 2010 Mac Mini which I use it to watch Hulu and other live streams while it's connected to my TV through HDMI. |
