BSOD from Flash Player

I didn't take a screenshot of it, but every time I try to use ANYTHING that involves Flash Player under Windows XP (don't judge me), my computer locks up and bluescreens. When the blue screen came up, it said that it had something to do with my ATI video driver. I've reinstalled the driver more than once and just recently did a clean install of Windows. Same issue. I'm using an iMac from '07 with the Mobility Radeon HD 2400XT graphics. Anybody have any ideas?

Why are you using Windows on a Mac? And have you testing if it does that on Mac OS X? (Not the BSOD part but crashing...)

Because I happen to like having the freedom of switching when I need to without needing 2 computers nearby. And yes, I've tried on OS X. No crashing at all.

Uninstall your current version of Flash and install a earlier version. There might be a glitch with the current version under Windows XP. Windows XP would not be Adobe's biggest compatibility concern since there has been Vista, 7, and upcoming 8, to stay compatible with.

Run the last version you knew didn't cause compatibility issues with your current video driver and operating system. Hope this helps. Oh, try to use Google Chrome, which comes with a built-in Flash player. This is your most secure option at the moment, if it doesn't cause crashes, because an older version of Flash in another browser does allow security holes. But, if Chrome doesn't work for you, just stay with the earlier version in another browser.
