I'm not on a Mac personally here. I guess it is a matter of preference to which one you want to use. Or you could choose something that is out on the internet that are also viable to either one of those like Open office, Lotus Symphony, or libreoffice for example which is available for the Mac, PC, and Linux/Unix variants. Which will read Microsoft office file formats as well.
