So I am starting something and I was wondering if it is unprofessional to use Skype for an organization or a group. What do you think? I don't think so. I think of it as a utility. Like if the business relies heavily on Skype? |
It's professional! When I had my interview for where I work as a computer repair man, the company used Skype to call me because I couldn't make it to their office. I think it's great they're using it. |

There is nothing wrong with using it, skype is designed for group conferencing and is one of the easiest to use programs for this. |
Skype is a great product, and many companies use it because it is cost effective and easy to use, little training required. Skype even offers plans for businesses, so there must be a market there. |
Skype IS professional and a great tool to any business or at home, I have a couple of German friends here in Australia who contact the homeland at least once a week, not to mention their grand kids who are all over the place. Works a treat |

plus it is widely use on several platforms as well. Like windows, Mac OS X, and linux platforms that it can be used in. |
