Hi everyone,

Im beginning my uni degree on Monday and my programming course specifies that i use Notepad2 for my coding instead of original notepad. My question is that when I am downloading this program there is to options, Notepad2 or Notepad2 portable. im a little confused about it and i havent heard back from my lecturer. If someone could guide me in the right direction I would be very grateful.

thanks in advance.

ps , i love this community, im a noobie here and i think its really really good!

Notepad2 Portable is a version if you want to run it off a removable device that is not on the comupter's hard drive like a flash drive or network drive.

Notepad2 (not portable) installs it on the program files on the hard drive and is not that portable to carry on a flash drive.
