This is seriously the most urgent question ever. I need to know how to convert a .mov to a .avi so I can use it in Windows Movie Maker. I don't want to hear anyone say that I need a new video editor or any of that crap. I just need to know how to do this. I've already tried changing the file extension, which actually still played in VLC but Windows movie maker says it wants codecs. PSH. I bet the codec is already there and it's just pretending it isn't to make me mad. Believe me, I have had experiences that show that Windows is like that. ugh. Anyway, thanks and PLEASE HELP MEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Yoooooooo! You could download DVDVideoSoft's FreeStudio. In there, they have an option to convert to .avi.Go to http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/ and download it. I hope it helped! 1
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=li8MdJ5yL6k <---- On the lockergnome channel, someone's review of the software. Ok. (25 characters). doesn't work. can't get past the initial splash screen. Did you try Prism's Video File Converter? http://www.nchsoftware.com/prism/index.html You'd only need to use it once, so the trial is best for you. kinda too late now :(
