Hey Chris, I have an iPad 2 and a BLUE smart cover FYI, and I heard from my cousin that heard it from his friend that heard it from his uncles inlaws brother and he said that if you turn in your ipad2 then when the iPad 3comes , then u can get it for no cost. IF YUO HAVE APPLECARE. Which I might get, depending if I can do that... Plz respond. Ps, ur video on the iPad 2 made me ROTFLMAO! (rolling on the floor laughing my DONKEY off)then substitute one of the words...

No you cannot do that with AppleCare...

If you bought an iPad 2 from an Apple store, you have 30 days to return it if you are unsatisfied, but otherwise you cannot do what has been suggested......

AppleCare is an extended warranty against manufacturing errors...

No, no. You can't do that at all. You must be referring to trading your iPad for the new one and you pay a difference. That is possible. IDK about Apple Care with no cost, even with Apple Care and your device messes up they will give you the same device. For example, you have an iPod Touch 2G in warranty, they will give you an iPod Touch 2G, not a 3G or even a 4G at no cost. That's money down the drain for Apple.
