A bias opinion is a preference FYI. ;) Well normally anyways...

I have used both and while I am primarily a windows/ PC user, the mouse easily beats the track pad.

The concept behind the track pad seems interesting but the work it take to take your had off of the mouse to do a gesture on the track pad, is too much (though for best results, you can replace the mouse with something like the logitech g700 and get more features and better and more comfortable control for around the same price

Having used both before I would go with the mouse. I still don't really like trackpads and prefer mice for their precision. But fr Touch-gestures, gimme a trackpad!

I primarily use the Magic Trackpad since I use Lion. I love the multitouch gestures. There are times, however, like when playing games, where I use a basic wired Logitech mouse. IMO, the magic mouse is very unnatural and is too flat.

I use my Trackpad for general surfing etc... However I use my Logitec Performance MX mouse for precision work in Photoshop etc...

My Magic Mouse just gathers dust... Its too low imo,.

I prefer the magic mouse because I generally prefer mice over trackpads in general anyways. It just feels more confortable and precise to me.
