What do you guys think of the announcements from Apple at the event today? The new Ipad has some great improvements i think but Apple tv huh, allot of people presumed the rumours were in relation to an actual tv set lol who got disappointed at that one? Personally i'm not surprised by this as i've mentioned before, 2013 is when most manufacturers will be releasing brand new tech upgrades with this year focusing on price drops and downsizing of last years models. But you never know Apple could launch it end of the year for Christmas to get a drop on the market but imho i'd say 2013 is a better bet :)

iPad 3 looks awesome. I would love it. But I have other expensive things to save up to.

The Apple TV will replace whatever 'entertainment' box we have. It is slow, crashie and somethimes just decides to do nothing at all and then process all input about 5 minutes later. It needs to be replaced with something that works. The 1080P is what we've been waiting on.

The new iPad (is there even going to be a logical/normal name?) will come right after that for me. I currently own the iPad 2 and I've owned the original iPad. Right now I actually need it to some degree, mostly I just want it, when you're writing games for iOS that support multi-player it is very useful to have more then 1 device available to you.

HAHA new apple TV. Alright sure, adding 1080p definitely makes it it new, NOT. iPad 3 on the other hand it decent, LTE is a HUGE upgrade, I didn't even think Apple would do that.
