So basically with the new iPad, the debate for which company to go with on the 4G models really comes down to wether you want a wider coverage and tethering enabled 2GB plan with Verizon or a smaller coverage, no tethering (for now) 3GB plan with AT&T... Honestly I'm pretty split right now as to which I would rather go with. Although Verizon seems like the clear winner for many, that extra gigabyte of usage is pretty convincing... What do you guys think? |

Find out the coverage in your area, and see if you can find someone with the plan you are interested in and see if they can run a speedtest. verizon generally has higher speeds but there are locations where AT&T is faster. PS 2GB for an ipad is really not enough. |

Verizon plans to have 4G LTE in 400 cities by the end of this year. AT&T has HSPA+ which is faster than Verizon's 3G if you are in an area without 4G LTE coverage. Personally I don't think tethering with an iPad is all that useful since the iPad was made to replace the computer which you'd probably tether to it. |
