hi id like advice on how to write software on windows and mac from scratch |
|
Well if your using either a Mac or a windows PC it would usually be best to get some kind of compiler to write the code in there for one of the two operating systems. Xcode is free for download from the Apple store where you can download it to your computer. While on the windows PC you can download a free ISO of their to do the same thing. Depending on which programming language you want to work with. Windows Visual studio express 2010 is at this link. http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/products/2010-editions/express-iso I iknow my own mac Mini came with Xcode on the dvd that I just installed not too long ago for my Mac Mini 2005. But you can simply go to google and search for it that way for the Mac to get the more recent one for your Mac that you have there. Also if you want to take a look online for tutorials of which programming languages you want to write in for your computer. Karl |
