I'm looking for a free or pretty cheap program that will allow me to have a directory on my Windows computer that is checked for chances and when there is a change it will upload the file to an FTP server. I'll be mainly just uploading images to a server.

I used NetDrive ( http://netdrive.net/ ) to mount my ftp location as local hardrive, and then i just "drag&drop" files to folder inside without starting filezilla or something like that every time. Hope this was helpful to you

for automatically, one way that I can think of is write a batch script and then use windows task scheduler (or whatever it's called) to set it to run every x times (daily/weekly/hourly/monthly/yearly/whatever)
