how to enter my router when the wireless is disabled

Please help i clicked a button and now i can't get into my router when i use the ip address is there any other way to get into it without reseting my router, because i have apple airport extreme connected and that was a pin to get up and running.

Take an Ethernet cable and plug it into one of your 3 Ethernet ports. If they are all in use then temporarily unplug one of them or just use one of the devices already plugged in.
Go to your browser and enter the IP address of your router.
Log in if necessary
Navigate to your wireless settings and reactivate it
(if applicable) Unplug Ethernet cable and/or plug whatever was plugged in back into the router

Take plug out of router, plug it into my computer is it but how do i assess the router when the airport extreme is connected to it.

Declan Go to Start all programs, And within all programs there should be a application to access your airport extreme. That will access it for you. By just entering in some vaules there. If you cannot access thr router that way. you may have turned off your wireless connection on the laptop itself. Or if it is running off of a desktop machine. Just restart the computer. and the application should reload itself into the computer when it loads into the operating system itself.

It is not the apple airport, it is the old router that is the problem the one that the airport is connected to I disabled the wireless by mistake no the ip address for the router won't let me in also over disabling the wireless netowrok my old wifi point is gone so I can't enter the router unless there is a manual way in or something

Then you need to connect to your old router via a network cable and type in the ip address for it then Declan. That is the only way of getting into the older router. Or do a hard reset of the router in order to do so.
