Three questions here, in your opinion which is better a display using thunderbolt or one using HDMI? Will Thunderbolt take over from HDMI given the amount of data it can stream at very high speed and that the cables rely on cheap fibre optics rather than more expensive copper wiring? Next question being what Thunderbolt displays are on the market? The Apple Thunderbolt display looks great but the price is beyond what i would pay for a screen of any size or resolution, i'm going for the 15 inch Macbook pro this summer and will want a separate display for gaming and other tasks when i'm at my desk and would prefer to utilise the Thunderbolt port/s if possible especially if the new Pro's don't even have HDMI.
