Can't connect to IRC chat

I've been having this problem for a few days now. I tried uninstalling my antivirus, but it didn't fix it. This is what I get, and it never connects.

Try and connect to some other server.

you have to login on the server with your real ISP name and ID useing tidal is rarely if ever allow on IRC networks no more

check your other post about the same subject I have already explained how...

*** No ident response; username prefixed with ~ this mean usually you are trying to login to the IRC server ANON which nearly all server will not allow ARE you maybe behind a fire wall or something that is blocking log in, are you useing a proxy which many good IRC networks will not allow ..

if your using a IRC client that asked for an Email addy Keep in mind you would need to use the email addy provided by your ISP not hotmail or yahoo or the server will see you as an Anon user..

there is the possiblity that the port they are useing for IRC is blocked on your computer or blocked by yout ISP, it is possible that for some reason either you or your ISP is banned from that net work ..

there are other reasons these are most common though
