Can I get a FULL view of a map offline without 3G or WIFI on my iPad 1?

I am going somewhere and I need some directions for my parents and I want to know if I can find an app or a way that I can view maps in FULL view because my parents can't do small screens. I have an iPhone but they can't see the screen well enough so is there a way I can get a FULL view of a map on the iPad for directions to the place I am going to.
