Software to change file names

How about just hi-lighting all of them and right click to rename? I mean it worked for me.

That just makes them all the same you know but with 1,2,3,4 at the end?

Mac or PC? On my Mac I use Name Mangler from the Mac App Store that lets you change thousands of file names using any customizations like number ordering, find and replace, change case, etc. I'm sure apps like this exist for Windows, just do a quick Google search.
