Hey Lockergnome,

A week or two ago I bought The New iPad but I can seem to find VLC on iCloud anymore. I used to be able to download it on my iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and iPod touch. Now I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I do have a copy of the ipa on my iMac but that would mean I'd have to remove all apps from my iPad because iTunes can't sync any apps otherwise (nice going Apple, not!)

Is there a way to re-download the VLC app or do I absolutely have to remove all my apps in order to install just this one?

I just checked my iCloud and VLC is not there for me either. I still have it on my iPod but I don't think that there is a way you can download it from iCloud anymore.

Got it!

Als long as you still have the ipa file of the application you can re-install it via this method

It might require you to be a registered iPhone-Developer but at least it's a way to install just one app when you need to!

I can confirm that you do not need to be a registered iPhone-Developer to use this method.
