I'm looking for a open source project idea (for .NET). I would like to focus on Class Libraries. Do you know of any Class Libraries that aren't out there yet? What Class Libraries would you find useful? Anything else?

I could use one for the parsing and calculation of iterative functions using imaginary numbers but I'm assuming that you're not a mathematician in addition to being a programmer?

I think you'll find that anything that can be done pretty much has been done by now. It seems a long time since anything truly 'different' or 'new' happened in the world of software so at best you're going to be producing variations on a theme which is why I lost interest in programming. When I was using machine code for CP/M systems it really felt like something original but 20 years on programming feels more like building Lego than anything truly creative.

Thanks for the idea! In fact, I'm a 13 year old looking for a project idea. I was hoping someone would come-up with something API (wrapping) related. Thanks anyway though!
