I like most rock. Classic, punk, grunge, alternative, metal, and more. I like SOME hip hop but not too much. I like folk music as well. Tech is fine too. I can get adjusted to almost anything. I like some classical but not heaps of it. You? Also, do you listen to music no matter when the release was? WHY do people think release dates matter? I strongly disagree with that. |

I like heavy metal & extreme metal bands. I hate RnB, hardcore and rap. Oh, I listen to music sound tracks from off games, too |

I listen to mostly Rap, Hip Hop and Spanish music (Bachata, Merengue, Perico Ripiao and Reggaeton). And I don't care when it was released. Release dates don't matter to me either. For example, a song like "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash was released in 1982 and I still play that like it's been released last week. Also, "Express Yourself" by Diplo was released a few weeks ago (22 March 2012), has a video and no one outside the New Orleans area knows about it (except me apparently). As one of my friends once said, people know about a song if a video is released for it. |

I mainly listen to Hip-Hop, Funk, Jazz, RnB, and Rock, but I really listen to anything. I do like Folk, Soul, Classical, Acid, and etc as well. The date a song or album was released doesn't matter to me. If the music sounds good I'll listen to it. I believe a lot of people put so much emphasis on the release dates because they really detest current music and find it repulsive. For example, in Hip-Hop there's a large group of people who refuse to listen to anything that isn't from the 90s and/or refuse to listen to anything that sounds like what is being played on radio. |
