I think it was Chris that said that someones maturity level is more important than their age. I believe that this also applies to the business world.

I think young entrepreneurship is awesome because youngsters still have the time to test out different businesses and find out which one works the better for them. I'm 17 as of now and when I was about 13-14 I was making good money from eBay, and when I was about 15-16 I made some pretty good cash doing freebie trading online, and now at age 17 I'm making a decent income with my blog and YouTube videos and I like writing and public speaking, so content production just works out for me. As the proverb goes, a singer will always find his (or her) song. I highly encourage you to start a technology company at your age because it will pay off in the end. All of your friends will be looking for jobs, but you would have a tech biz off the ground before graduating high school and that would be super awesome and super liberating. Good luck dude! :)

Entrepreneur literally means 'undertaker' (the Brit name for a funeral director). In the present economy the irony is not lost on me!

It should be said that entrepreneur is french in origin and it means undertaker as in undertaking a risk or just self motivated. There is no correlation between the word entrepreneur and a man who makes his money on dead people. but you are right, could have used a little more clarification though.

Yeah, I know. It was humour, not an etymology lesson!

Age is only a number. I help run the Votes at 16 campaign in the UK and one of the things we know is age really is only a number. You sound like you have skills so make use of them. Don't let people say age is a disadvantage, it's not. They are only worried you will be better than them ;)

Hmm, let's see if you still think that 20 or 30 years from now. The only problem with youth is that it has no knowledge of any other condition but youth. That's not necessarily a barrier to success but it can make you a lot of unnecessary enemies!

I always put ability over age and I am sure I will be saying the same thing in 20-30 years.

I started my company at 7 years old.

Buying then selling on sweets with a high margin.

Being young does not mean anything. It is about being dedicated to your goal.

If you think you have what it takes to be big then fucking go for it!

Not trying to be smart. I just am and I am sorry if that offends you in anyway.
