Hi, I Have 4 Old routers. Can i use them for anything? They are BT Home Hub,BT Business Hub,Belkin G Router And A Netgear DG834 Could they be used as repeaters? |

Not sure about the BT routers, but the you can use the Belkin and Netgear routers as switches. Just go into the configurations of each and disable DHCP. Also make sure that you are not using the same IP address for any of them. (If for example your current router is 192.168.0.1 and that is also the Netgear's IP, just change the Netgear IP to something like 192.168.1.1). It may also be necessary to disable NAT in those routers as well. (A switch will also act as a repeater). If you're planning on using them as wireless repeaters, you will probably need to update the firmware unless they are already capable of operating as a wireless bridge. |

I would assume the BT routers aren't configurable for anything other than BT services. How old is 'old' for the other 2? |
