I'm looking for the best 27" display that I could hook up to my 13" MacBook Pro. I only have a $500 budget, so I cant get the very much desired Thunderbolt Display :(
Oh yeah, and I'm not sure its possible for under $500, but I heard about the new 2560x1440 displays which would be pretty cool!
Any answers would be nice! ^_^

If you are getting a 27" display I strongly advise getting it with a 2560x1440 resolution. Any lower such as 1920x1080 is not enough. I have the 27" iMac which uses the same 2560x1440 display found in Apple's 27" Thunderbolt displays and also those found in Dell's 27" IPS displays. The actual display is made by LG. Unfortunately $500 will not quite be enough. $800-$1000 is much more realistic. I strongly recommend that you wait and save up more money. If it's 27" you need, only 2560x1440 will do. I also have a 13" MacBook Pro and often hook it up to my iMac. When I am not doing this I hook it up to a 1920x1080 24" display.
