I've been thinking about this lately as I'm buying a laptop for my aunt here in the States. The Dominican Republic uses the Latin American US-International keyboard layout (like the rest of Latin America as the name suggests). I'm wondering can you get used to another countries' standard keyboard, like for example you're from America, can you get used to a UK layout or a Swedish layout if needed?

I bounce between the US and the Latin American standard US-International keyboard as I live in both countries.
