I've gotten bored of twitter suddenly, so I was going to deactivate my account for a while, maybe for two weeks or something, then I'll see if I want to go back to it.

If I deactivate it, will I lose some of my followers or will they all come back after reactivating it?

Why not turn the notifications off?

Also, as far as I know, as long as you re-activate your account before its permanently deleted (I think it's after 2 weeks) then you will retain everything, your followers, tweets, etc.

cause I'll end up getting phone notifications and emails about mentions and people who have followed me.
