I'm a PC Gamer but have some games on the Xbox for when people come over, but It would be nice to have better graphics performance and control methods.

Will you be able to play Xbox 360 dics on Windows 8 Machines when it's released?

Thanks!

If a game is written for XNA, there may be the possibility of having it available to run on both PC and XBox 360.

But the XBox 360 discs themselves are dual-layer DVDs, even though they aren't commonly labelled as such. If your PC doesn't have a dual-layer DVD reader, adding Windows 8 won't automatically support them even if you had some funky xbox emulator.

no, you won't. what you will be able to do though, is play cross platform between the two. pc games are specifically designed to work on a wide variety of hardware, while the xbox games are specifically designed for one set of hardware, the xbox. it would be a cool feature, but its not really likely.
