What are some characteristics of a "good" business idea?

I've got that all worked out. I know precisely how I'm going to monetize and market the business. I guess I'm just fearing failure when I shouldn't be doing that at all. I'm going to just go ahead and invest money into the domain name and everything and actually get the business going. It doesn't pay to be scared! I could become extremely successful, but I'll never become successful if I don't try things out.

Very true. I dove right in with $5 and now I am near full time and hire 2 sales people.
