So I have recorded some samples and need to make a track out of it.

What I need is to have the software allow me to set where each sample starts and stops on a grid of some kind for it to then play back.

Anyone know anything?

Thank you.

Well Reason is one, but you'd have to pay for that. I think Audacity you can do that but it'll be a bit harder.

If you are willing to pay for it. I would suggest, "Magix Music Maker MX" you can buy this at Futureshop / Bestbuy for around $30. I've been using this for quite some time and I love it. Youtube it. I think it's exactly what you're looking for. It has many great features..

I would suggest LMMS. It's a lot like FL Studio. It is cross platform even though it was developed for Linux based OSs. It's free and open source. I've used it and it's a nice piece of software.
